Welcome to the team Megan

We’re pleased to welcome Megan Hill to Team BOWRA as our BOWRA Bag Project Manager.

The BOWRA Bag is a long-running part of our work and, over the years, we have already provided over 375 bags to people living with the effects of stroke and brain injury. Each bag is a specially assembled toolkit of practical items designed to support rehabilitation, build confidence, encourage independence and help with communication, whether someone is newly diagnosed or further along their journey.

Megan will be focusing on reviewing and evaluating the bag and its contents so we can continue to improve what’s included and ensure each bag remains genuinely useful for the people receiving it. She has already hit the ground running, bringing care, energy and attention to detail from day one.

Providing BOWRA Bags is only possible through the generosity of supporters. Each bag costs £100 to provide, with some people funding a whole bag and others contributing what they can, together making a bag possible for someone who needs it.
