Change lives through FUNDRAISING

People fundraising in support of BOWRA

The money raised through fundraising helps reach people at a tough point in their lives, offering support and connection when they need it most.

Funds raised allow us to continue offering support, activities and resources that help people feel less alone.

Who can fundraise

Anyone can fundraise for BOWRA. People choose to support us in many different ways, on their own, with friends or family, through workplaces or as part of a community group. Whether your idea is small or ambitious, every effort helps.

Ways to fundraise

There’s no single way to fundraise. People choose what suits them, their interests and their circumstances.

Personal challenges

Taking on a personal challenge, such as a walk, run, cycle or swim, is a way to turn individual effort into support for others.

Community events

Community fundraising includes activities like coffee mornings, quiz nights or local events that bring people together to support BOWRA.

Workplace fundraising

Workplace fundraising can involve team challenges, collections or staff-led activities that support BOWRA’s work.

Fundraising FAQ’s

  • Most people fundraise around something that already matters to them, such as a personal challenge, a community event, a workplace activity or a personal reason for supporting the BOWRA Foundation. Ideas range from sponsored walks, bake sells or sponsored cycles through to larger challenges like climbing the Three Peaks or taking part in the London Marathon.
