Ellis Jones Solicitors has entered a partnership with the BOWRA Foundation, supporting our charity for the next three years.
Our connection with Ellis Jones Solicitors
Lauren Day is a Partner at Ellis Jones Solicitors and first connected with us through local networks before becoming a Trustee in 2020. Lauren supports us in our mission and appreciates the impact it has on people’s lives, having now been a member of the Trustee Board for over five years.
Since becoming a Trustee, Lauren has assisted with the launch of the BOWRA Bag project, helping the team to source funding for a full time member of staff to take the BOWRA Bag concept and drive it forward. The BOWRA Bag initiative is now a key part of support we offer to our beneficiaries.
Fundraising and new partnership
Ellis Jones Solicitors has previously raised thousands of pounds for our Foundation at their Royal Ascot Days, attended our annual Christmas quiz and sponsored Mark Bowra and a team to walk over 100 miles of the South West Coast Path.
As part of our new partnership, Ellis Jones have pledged to provide our Foundation free legal advice to an agreed amount and discounted legal services for any paid legal service work.
What this support means to BOWRA
This partnership represents an important step forward for the BOWRA Foundation. The support from Ellis Jones Solicitors will not only strengthen our fundraising efforts but also provide valuable professional expertise that will help us continue developing and expanding the support we offer to our beneficiaries. Access to legal advice and services will help ensure the Foundation can continue to grow sustainably while focusing on what matters most – supporting those recovering from brain injury.
